Bleach is one of the most popular anime series of all time with a great story, visuals, character art, and thrilling adventure. The Bleach Manga was written and illustrated by Tite Kubo while the anime adaptation of this great Manga was directed by Noriyuki Abe, produced by Pierrot Studio back in the year 2004.

Bleach Plot Summary

The story follows the life of a young high-school boy, Ichigo Kurasaki who lives in the small town of KaraKura. Ichigo unlike any other teenager boy has an extraordinary ability to see the after-life (souls of the dead). One day, Rukia Kuchiki, a soul reaper, gets severely injured while trying to capture a powerful hollow from the world of the living, not being able to perform her duties anymore Rukia decides to transfer her duties to Ichigo Kurasaki.

Ichigo after getting this duty of a soul reaper starts eliminating the hollows and soon after he finds out that he is not alone as his friends too possess different powers. He also finds out that Rukia is being sentenced to death for her transgressions into the world of the living, a crime that she never committed in the first place and was being framed for, by one of the highest-ranking members of the soul society, Aizen.

Ichigo decides to save Rukia with the help of his new friends and two exiled soul reapers, Kisuke and Yoruichi. They fight against many corrupted soul reapers and powerful hollows and find out that Aizen has plans to take over the whole soul society with the help of a powerful element Hogyuko, that empowers the hollows with the power of a soul reaper.

In order to kill the ruler of the soul society, Aizen requires a special power called Oken and Orihime is one who can create Oken, so Aizen kidnaps Orihime from the realm of the hollows. Ichigo and his friend upon realizing this, decide to go to the realm of the hollows themselves to save Orihime and also save the soul society from Aizen.

Is Bleach Worth Watching?

Most Definitely, it is one of the most popular anime series out there and anime lovers from all across the globe are loving it. So yes, we would definitely recommend you to watch this series if you haven’t already. Bleach has a total of a staggering 366 episodes filled with thrilling adventure and fun and as far as the filler episodes in this series are concerned, there are 160 fillers in total making around 40% of the anime series which is high but they are totally worth it.
